Choosing a Kitten

It is important whether you are getting a new cat or kitten or have a cat already to ensure that your home is safe and your cat cannot come to any harm.






You need to look over your home with a cat's eye and see what possible dangers are present.

A cat will not only be on the floor, they can climb and jump so you will need to think very hard. Are there any electrical hazards, water, glass, what items are on shelves, left in cat reach and what could a cat think is food.

Part of cat proofing is also to make sure that the cat flap is safe and works and that your cat can easily find its food, water and litter tray.
